We had a great technique class on Monday. I just have to share one of the cards we made using the super cute snail mail designer series paper.
This technique is called the floating frame technique.
I cut out all the images I wanted from the DSP and arranged them as desired on the white layer of the card. I then used Glad Press and Seal and placed it on top. I gently pressed the cut out images to the press n seal so they all stuck to the plastic and then lifted the plastic press n seal up and turned it over so that I was looking at the backside of all the precut dsp pieces. I placed LOTS of dimensionals on the back and then flipped the plastic over and positioned it on top of the white later so that all the dimensionaled (is that a word?) snails adhered to the paper. I then gently removed the press n seal and "VOILA!" Floating snails! If any snails were overhanging the white piece, I trimmed them off so that the edges were flush.
In class we made three floating frame cards.

It could be a bit tricky to see but just like the snails, the butterflies look like they are floating off the page!
