Just for You!

Hello my friends!  This is just a quick reminder that it's time to register for the Customer Appreciation event if you haven't already!

This is a special event that I do annually with my family so we can say THANK YOU for supporting my stampin' journey.
My whole family gets involved and we plan things to help make it a little more special than my regular events.  I'm really excited about one new idea I have planned! (you'll find out when you come)

Special eats and treats and gifts are in the works.  I have prizes to give away and my famous BOGO table will be set up.  My bogo table allows you to buy things from the table and get equal value from the new catalogue FREE!  Everyone attending will get a copy of the new catalogue!

You don't want to miss it!
It is drop in style between 2-7:30pm  so that it's more flexible for you and hopefully won't be too crowded.

Even though it's drop in style, Registration is still required because I need to cut and prepare the make n take supplies.  Yes!  We're stamping from the new catalogue! Stampin4fun Club members get a bonus Make n take Project!  (Learn about the perks of stampin4fun membership HERE)

This event is completely FREE if you shopped with me in the past year.  Are you long distance?  Don't worry!  I want to say thank you to you too...even if you can't come to Markham.  You can receive the completed make n take cards mailed to you! However, you have to register for the long distance option!  Didn't get a chance to shop or stamp with me this past year?  That's okay!  Please come because it's only a $10 cover charge.  It's so fun!

Register today!

Here's a sneak peek of one of the cards I've prepared for the event:
Do you see it?  New DSP, new stamp set, new ribbon....eeek!  Playing with new stuff makes me happy!
Come share my stampin' happiness and mark your calendar for Sunday December 29th!

I can't wait to see you!  Make sure to register!

Appreciation Kick Off!

I have so much to be grateful for!  Last week I received this gorgeous packet delivered to me!  Look at all the special details!

It contained all the trip documents for the upcoming Stampin' Up! incentive trip to the Greek Isles.

It's not just an trip to me.
This incentive trip represents so much more!
It reminds me of how blessed I am that God has given me the energy and wisdom to continue with this hobby turned business.
It reminds me that perseverance and hard work can reap rewards
It reminds me that I absolutely have the best customers and team members in the world!
It reminds me that Stampin' Up! is a great and generous company to be affiliated with.
It also reminds me to thank my husband because this gift from Stampin' Up! is a trip for two!  I certainly could not do this business without the support of my family and especially my husband!

I'm so grateful!

My appreciation event on Sunday was just a small way to show my appreciation while at the same time introducing the new annual catalogue! It was a great day!
Here's a few photos!

I made up small gifts to give to my club members and past hosts who attended the event.  It included chocolate, some designer series paper all wrapped up with a pretty tag.

It's a tradition for me to order some cupcakes iced in the new in colours!

I wish I had taken more photos of the smiles and the stamping but at the time I wasn't thinking about photos, I was just happy to help and chat with everyone!

Here are a few photos of the make n take projects showcasing new product!

Yup. Today is June 4th!  The day the new catalogue goes live!

Thank you!

I am so grateful for this stamping business.  It was never my life plan or goal to have a stamping business...or any kind of business at all in fact.

I have no regrets on where this stamping journey has taken me.

This journey is only possible because of those who have taken the time to stamp with me!

I am grateful for you!

That's why I am having a Customer Appreciation Event.

I can't wait!!!!

It's true!  I can't wait for the launch of the new spring catalogue!  There's a reason that I scheduled my Customer Appreciation event for January 3rd (the first day the catalogue goes live)

It's because I love sharing all the new things that Stampin' Up! has provided for us!

I've been happily playing with new spring goodies to get a feel of what I like and what we'll stamp at the Customer appreciation event.

So if you're local, make sure to RSVP to attend the event.  Anyone who's shopped with me in the past year can come for free and will enjoy all the make n takes and receive a little gift on the house!

Don't worry if you didn't shop with me this past year!  You can still attend but I"m sorry you won't receive the gift but it's only a $5 cover charge to stamp the projects.

It's a steal of a price!

Here's a little sneak peek of one of the projects we will make:

You can't see in the picture but the paper has some pretty awesome bling! We'll be making 4 projects all together so I hope you can make it!

Don't worry if you're long distance!  Mark your calendar now for the evening of January 10th.  I'm going to host a facebook party on my facebook group.  So, make sure you are a part of my facebook group so you can see all the posts and projects.

Other news to know...things are flying off the clearance rack so make sure to shop now to get some amazing products at great prices!

Thanks for dropping in !

The Thank You Party

Yesterday was my customer appreciation event.  It was a blast!  I'm glad I took some photos in the beginning because it got super busy later and I forgot to take any more! I wish I had though.
Next time at my events I'll have to have a helper just in charge of taking pictures!

I wanted to do whatever I could to make the event special because I am truly grateful to everyone who comes to stamp with me.
I know my fun stamping business would be NOTHING without people...and I may be biased...but I think I have the BEST customers a Stampin' Up! demonstrator could ask for.  In fact I don't even like the word customers...to me I have had to privilege to meet and stamp with a lot of wonderful FRIENDS.

To all of you who came, and to those who weren't able to, thank you for your support this past year.  I know it is not a small thing for me to have been named by Stampin' Up! as the #1 demonstrator in Canada this past year and my family and I wanted to say Thank You!   We are so grateful to you and to a very generous God!

Here's some photos!

What's a thank you party without gifts?

And food...Isn't this chocolate fountain fun?

Of course my whole family had to be involved in the running of the event. Part of the fun for me is seeing my whole family get ready for the event in their own way.  My daughter was in charge of  setting up and serving and replenishing the snacks and drinks.  She loves to bake and cook and I had to smile because I told her that based on the chocolate fountain instructions, we were supposed to melt the chocolate in the microwave.  She told me that microwave melting was not as effective as using a double boiler on the stove.  I told her I did not have a double boiler (I don't even know what one is) but she made something with a bowl in a pot on the stove and melted the chocolate in there.  As you can see it was very smooth and creamy.

My youngest son was in charge of the raffle station.  He knew in advance this was his job and took it very seriously.  As soon as he woke up yesterday morning, he came and asked me for the raffle prizes and a table and a tablecloth so he could begin setting up his station.  He created a very cute instruction list and then boxed himself in with two tables and the piano so that he could only enter his station by crawling under the table.  It was hilarious.

My oldest son was in charge of taking coats and handing out welcome gifts and the class schedule at the door. There is no funny story for him except I know it is way out of his comfort zone to talk to tons of adults...but he did it...with his phone in his hand and earbuds in his ears. sigh.  (Teenagers!)

My wonderful husband, Kevin, did whatever he could think of to help.  He made up a little direction sign...

and I had him set up and man the BOGO table.  He is excellent at the bogo table because he is able to explain the process to everyone and he is very quick at mental math (unlike me) so he can quickly add everything up.

This event was also meant to give a sneek peek of the spring and sale-a-bration catalogues so of course I had some stamping projects ready and people knew they could order from the catalogues so I could input the orders first thing on January 4th when everything goes live.

Don't miss going to my online store on January 4th to see everything new or head there now for your last chance to grab the year end closeout deals!

What a great day yesterday!  A huge shout out to a couple of Team S.T.I.C girls, Priti and Sherri who were great helpers down in the craft cave while everyone was working on the make n takes.

I'm off to enjoy some rest time with my family for a few days but first Monday of the month technique class is still on  for January 2nd (but I'm only doing a 7pm session) so RSVP today!  We are going to be doing different window cards (including a magic slider card!)
