Ink and Inspiration January Blog Hop

Thank you so much for dropping in today! I am pleased to be joining in the Ink and Inspiration Blog hop featuring demonstrators from all around the world!

The theme this month is Love me Tender. We are supposed to share projects related to love like Valentines, anniversary, wedding etc.

I admit that my project doesn't fall into any of those occasions BUT it does have to do with love because I made these projects for my daughter's upcoming birthday party. Making little things for my daughter's loot bag is a labour of LOVE. I know I could easily go to party city and buy a stock goodie bag but no way...I wanted to include something a little special and handmade.

I decided to make a little treat packet and tag/bookmark.

I used the Myths and Magic Suite because frankly that suite is perfect for a little girls birthday party don't you think?

I also decided to do a video to show how easy it is to make the treat packet!

And here's a look at the final loot bag. I decided to keep it fairly simple because the actual birthday adventure will be exciting enough since I will be taking my daughter and two of her school friends up north to go skiing and sleepover at a resort.

I decided to put a Mixed Medallions Card kit in the loot bag because I figured if the girls were bored after skiing they could make their own cards with the kit.

For those who follow me regularly, you'll remember I had announced on Saturday that I am doing a saleabration streak on my blog to showcase saleabration items everyday!

I can't wait!!!!

It's true! I can't wait for the launch of the new spring catalogue! There's a reason that I scheduled my Customer Appreciation event for January 3rd (the first day the catalogue goes live)

It's because I love sharing all the new things that Stampin' Up! has provided for us!

I've been happily playing with new spring goodies to get a feel of what I like and what we'll stamp at the Customer appreciation event.

So if you're local, make sure to RSVP to attend the event. Anyone who's shopped with me in the past year can come for free and will enjoy all the make n takes and receive a little gift on the house!

Don't worry if you didn't shop with me this past year! You can still attend but I"m sorry you won't receive the gift but it's only a $5 cover charge to stamp the projects.
