Greek Isles Achievers Blog Hop

Welcome to the first Greek Isles Trip Achievers Blog Hop!  Everyone participating in this hop has earned enough points through Stampin' Up! to attend an all expense paid trip for two to the Greek Isles.  Make sure to visit the blogs of demonstrators around the world so you can see all the great inspiration!

Our theme this month is to showcase product from the holiday catalogue.
I love playing with new holiday catalogue product but sometimes I want to pull out an older stamp in order to give it some love and also because if it was a favourite last year, there's no reason why I shouldn't enjoy it this year right?

Here's the project I want to share with you.  It uses the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set (a big favourite that came out last year) and the new Foil Edged Cards and Envelopes.

Isn't that gingerbread man the cutest?  Especially with his red jewel rhinestones?

The Foil Edged Cards and envelopes come in silver and gold.  I couldn't decide which I liked better so I bought both!

I hope this project inspires you to create with new and old Stampin' Up! product!
Don't forget about my October online ordering special that ends October 24th.  Receive 12 days of Christmas crafting tutorials from me when you place an order min. $40 on my online store using host code:   MUE3RPG4

The tutorials will be emailed to you at the end of the month.

Thank you for dropping in!  Make sure to hop along and see the other great projects by clicking on the blog hop list below.
My supply list for the project is below that!

Happy Stamping!

Breaking News!!! Just Announced! Free Shipping on Cyber Monday

So you know the flash sale that Stampin' Up! was hinting about earlier?  Well they just announced that it's going to be FREE SHIPPING day on Monday November 27th.
ONE DAY ONLY!!!

In case you haven't been around with Stampin' Up! very much you will know that free shipping does not come around very often.

Having talked to a staff member about this before, Stampin' Up! prefers to be as transparent as possible about their pricing so they do not offer free shipping regularly because frankly shipping is not free.  The UPS people need to get paid...and Stampin' Up! would rather clearly indicate a shipping charge than call it free shipping and then hide the shipping cost in jacked up product prices.

Makes sense to me.

The point is FREE SHIPPING almost never comes around so when it does we must shop!!!

Note: The Extravaganza sale items end November 26th.
Free shipping starts November 27th.

Get your list ready...

You can shop online on my online store or email me your order and I can help you.

Yippee!!! (I'm very happy in case you can't tell!)

I'm going to be shopping on Monday!

I was going to blog today about my recent craft fair and share about these cute little test tube treats I made.  Now I'm too excited about the free shipping I don't have it in me to tell you how to make these cute treats today.  Maybe I will get to it later. In the meantime  I have to work on my shopping list.  However, I'll post a picture of the treats below!  (actually this picture was before I put the treats in.  Just a hint..m&m's fit perfectly. Smarties are too big for the tubes)  Happy Friday!

Crafting for Christmas

For today's mojo Monday I wanted to share what I have been crafting for Christmas.

I have been making the lovely Forever Evergreen Project Kit.  I admit I was a bit intimidated when I saw this kit in the catalogue.  It just looked complicated to me.
What inspired me to purchase and assemble it was that someone asked me to do a private class for them using this kit.
Of course I agreed because stamping with other people is way more fun than doing it on my own.

I discovered it wasn't as hard as I imagined!  I should have had more faith in this great Stampin' Up! kit!

My favourite part is the glittery star! These photos really don't do justice to how cool these trees look in real life!

I also did a little crafting to get ready for a craft show I had this past weekend.  I used the test tubes from the September Paper Pumpkin refills and filled them with skittles.
Just to make it a little silly and fun I filled the tubes with only red skittles and labelled them as spare noses.
I also did test tubes that only had brown skittles and labelled them as reindeer poop.
The reindeer from the Cookie Cutter Christmas Set seemed a good fit for these little treats!
If you can think of a fun way to use all the yellow, green and orange skittles I have left, please let me know!

I like to keep my vendor fair tables simple.  I enjoy crafting a few things for the table but certainly can't invest the time to craft insane amounts of things for the table. I did sell a few spare noses and reindeer poop this past weekend.  :-)

I hope these photos inspire you to do some Christmas crafting this week! If you need any supplies, make sure to head to my online store!
Thanks for dropping in!

Stamping with a Special guest

Last weekend was the much anticipated Build Your Benefits event with the Team.  We had a great time!  The event was filled with spirit, and inspiration and stamping and swapping.  Here's a few pictures!

Our special guest all the way from Calgary, Alberta was Dale Hampshire.  He is the Canadian Business manager.  I invited him simply because he's a great guy and loves to mingle with Canadian demonstrators.  I knew he would love Team S.T.I.C and Team S.T.I.C would love him.
He spoke a few words at the beginning of the day but otherwise he just soaked in the fun and learning just like everyone else.
I think he mentioned this was the first time he has ever stamped for such a long length of time.  He made 8 different cards! He really started to get in the swing of things when he changed up his card compared to the sample.  I don't know if you can see but his bear had early espresso coloured ears instead of my sample which had crumb cake coloured ears.

I decided to share this card with you for mojo Monday since the launch of the holiday catalogue is just a few short days away!  I hope this card gets you excited for the wonderful new products that are on the way!
A new catalogue is a reason to get excited!  I'm so excited that I've devoted Saturday September 24th as Stamp Camp day!  All attendees will get to make 10 different cards using the holiday mini product.  Everyone will also receive a swag bag of goodies and enjoy a delicious lunch.  There's always great raffle prizes too!
The early bird deadline is this Wednesday! Only 6 spots left!
Team S.T.I.C and Stampin4fun members get a $5 discount.
