I'm travelling home after an amazing Stampin' Up! incentive trip.
These trips are gifted to any demonstrator that achieves a certain number of "points" and I feel so honoured and blessed to be one of the approximately 400 demonstrators worldwide who have earned this trip. I know it's not a usual accomplishment for most demonstrators. I'm so grateful to those of you in my stampin' community who have been a part of this journey.
Thank you for indulging me as I share some photos of this special trip. (You can see my before trip adventures HERE and HERE)
I was so so thrilled that everything went smoothly for Kevin's flight to London. Not only was I super happy to be reunited with him but I really didn't want to have the inner conflict and decision making that would come if he hadn't arrived on time to embark on the boat. Would I get on the cruise without him???? Fortunately I didn't have to make that difficult decision!
We immediately went to the hotel, dropped off our bags and met up with good friends Jennifer Cotton and her husband Scott. We decided to check out an area of London where the TV show Ted Lasso had been filmed. If you have never seen the show, these next photos won't make sense but they were all notable places in the TV show.
The next day was cruise embarkation day! Stampin' Up! had arranged transportation for us to the cruise port. It was about a 1.5 hour drive.
The fun always begins with Stampin' Up! friends and special Stampin' Up! touches like the hospitality room (which could also be called the room of candy and prizes)
In our stateroom we got some special cupcakes and a special welcome note.
The next day was an "at sea" day as the ship sailed toward Norway.
The day was filled with more visiting and a special general session where they announced the destination of the 2025 incentive trip...Disneyworld!
At the hospitality room they gave out mickey themed cake pops!
It was fun to share the experience with a Team STIC girl Tina. It was her very first Incentive trip (that she got to attend...she earned last year but it was cancelled due to the health crisis that we will not name!)
The rest of the cruise was mostly about eating, more visiting and some special shore excursions.
A super fun excursion that we did was to take a RIB boat to a historic Viking Farm.
It was such an exhilarating ride over the water that the tour company offered wetsuits and goggles.
