birthday cards

Just thought I'd share some of the beautiful birthday cards I received.

Here's Shelley's card, melon mambo and blushing bride together (I think). Doesn't that amazing die cut flower with the cordory button just take your breath away?

Here's Susan's card using the retiring Priceless set. I think it's cool she used the in colours together. I think it's peach parfait, concord crush, pear pizzazz and pink pirouette together.

Here's Renee's card with the gorgeous elegant lines dry embossing folder on sahara sand paper.. The
darling pretties flowers and halfback pears are perfect.
Thanks ladies for these beautiful cards!

Priceless Wow

Do any of you remember when I used priceless at every class and club? Well, when I first started as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, this was my go to set for everything. Frankly, I didn't have very many sets when I started off. I dusted it off today as I am eagerly getting ready for the upcoming Stamp Camp. Today was such a happy day. The sun is shining, I got to do some stamping, I'm cooking steak and sweet potatos for dinner, and Kevin is due home tommorrow. A good day indeed.

There will be some workshop wow presentations at the stamp camp and I will be doing a little breakout session on ribbon and fabric. If this card looks like it's missing something, it's because it is. Those of you who are coming to stamp camp on Saturday will get to see the simple but "wow" factor with the ribbon. I didn't want to spoil the surprise so here is the card without the ribbon. I still wanted to show it because I thought the colour combo was interesting. (I got the combo from the colour coach) Old olive, night of navy and pretty in pink.

Back to the land of the living

I'm happy to say that I am feeling much better. I can go on with my daily routine without feeling like I"m dying. I"m very happy about that. However, I have a very croaky voice and a lingering cough. No complaints though...I"ll take that over the achy, can't move feeling anytime.

Last night we had a Team S.T.I.C meeting. We had a fun card swap and here are everyone's creations. Please take your time looking at the photos. Each card is so unique and there are so many cute embellishments. I'm so glad that Team S.T.I.C exists because I love stamping and swapping at our team meetings. I also love the relationships and conversation. Want to join in on the team fun while earning money and buying stamping supplies at a discount? Now is the time to sign up for the demonstrator starter kit so you can take advantage of the 15% sale-a-bration discount plus the $60 bonus bundle.
Becoming a demonstrator for the business, the hobby, the fun was a great decision for me and can be a great decision for you. Check out some of the benefits of being a demonstrator right HERE
The more the merrier on my team. All are welcome.

easy priceless card

Here's a super easy card you can make with almost any stamp set that has a flower/circle type motif. I used the flower from my all time favourite priceless set. I punched them out with the five petal flower punch and put punched out 1 3/8" circles behind.
These three colours were so saffron, old olive and regal rose.
I love the simplicity of this card and can not wait to try it using the new colours that will be released in the new catalogue. I am desperate to break out my new colours and play but I have been so busy with end of the year things that my new colours and stamp sets are still in the ups box!!!!! I have restrained myself from looking at everything because I know once I dig into my box of new things, time will be lost to me. I might forget to feed and clothe my children because I will be busy trying out all sorts of new colour combos using the new colours. Just joking!
My open house is coming up in just a couple of weeks and so if you can make it, you will see all these new things in action. I'll have new stamp sets, new colours, new paper and I just picked up a "new to me" big shot die for which I already have a card idea in my mind.
Come out and play! You deserve it! Open house: June 26th 9:30-1:30pm. RSVP to me so I can cut paper for you.

Priceless is not retiring!

Correct me if I am wrong but I didn't see PRICELESS on the retiring list which means I can continue to use it and enjoy it and share it with everyone without causing distress.
Here is a cute and easy project which is perfect to make as a teacher gift at the end of the year. I slipped a tea bag in but you could easily put a square of chocolate and a gift card. This was a club project. Yes, if you want to get new ideas and make cute projects, you need to join a club! Talk to me for all the details. Clubs are one of my favourite parts of being a stampin' up demo.

sale-a-brate Easter

I like the cutesy Easter themed things but to me Easter is still a highly significant and meaningful Christian celebration of the power of God to do miracles. So, I wanted to do an Easter card that had more of a reverant feel. This layout and colours is based on something I saw in a magazine. The priceless stamp set swirls and the vintage labels sale-a-bration set seemed to work well together. The halfback pearls from the pretties kit add that extra elegance.
