Pennant Parade Christmas

Don't forget about my monthly classes!  First Monday of the month is always my technique class.  In December, we will be doing Easel cards.  Here's one of the 3 cards we'll be making that evening:
I was in such a foul mood Monday and Tuesday.  I seriously think it was because I haven't had enough solitude time stamping in my craft cave.  I made sure to guard some time today.  Making this easel card was great medicine!
Also, the last Thursday of the month is my regular card class.  Make 4 cards and matching envelopes!  Here's a sneak peek for one of those cards at my next class on Thursday Nov. 29th:

I haven't played with my pennant parade set in a long time and I was glad to dust it off today.   I think I forgot that it had a cute little Christmas tree and little words too.  This set is on sale with the builder wheel for 40% off during the online extravaganza sale.  Check out my website for all the details!
Also, make sure to RSVP for upcoming classes.  You'll get a bonus for bringing a friend too!

Scrappin' weekend

Last weekend I was away with a girlfriend scrapbooking all weekend.  It was great!  I got pretty caught up on the family memories.  For me, scrapbooking is a necessity that I do for my family.  All the pictures we take NEED to be in an album for us to look at and enjoy so we can remember all the treasured times we experience together.  I'm worried if I don't scrapbook, all we'll remember is that mom looks really cranky every morning when she's trying to get everyone off to school.
Here's a couple of my favorites:
This one uses the hostess exclusive cheerful treat DSP.

This one uses the brights paper stack.  So fast and easy.

The pennant builder punch and co-ordinating stamp set is so fun!  If you want to start working on your family memories, make sure you come out to my memories matter class which is on November 25th this month and will then be on the last Thursday of every month.  I'd love to see you and help you preserve your family memories!

All things new!

Today I am heading out for Stampin' Up!'s annual convention in Utah. Many of you have asked what the difference is between the conference I went to in January in Nashville and the one I am heading off to today. The annual convention is apparently much more focused on stamping and using and learning about the wonderful new products whereas the leadership conference in January was more focused on learning how to develop the business. So, although I have never been to convention before, I am expecting to play a lot with stamps! I can't wait to see all the new catalogue things in action. I am always inspired by other's ideas so I know I will come back with a brain full of ideas that I can't wait to show off in club or classes.

Make sure you RSVP to me for my New Catalogue Open house on July 21st. I will have special offers, new make n takes, and prizes to give away. Come and bring a friend!

Stay tuned on the blog. I hope to have internet so I can share the fun I'm having at Convention.

To get you thinking of new things, here's a card we made at a team meeting using the new Pennant Parade set and co-ordinating punch.
