Butterfly Bouquet Blog Hop

Hello friends!  I'm excited today to be hopping with other members of the Bertucci training program.  I've had the privilege of being a speaker in Kylie's training group for a number of years now.  I love to share my journey with others and it's fun to be a part of her training group experiences!

I had so much fun making this card.  I had a really busy weekend so I couldn't wait to sit down today and just play!!! 

Here's what was born! 

I used our beautiful new blending brushes to sponge some Pacific point ink onto our basic white cardstock.  I then stamped the image using versamark and applied white embossing powder to give a dramatic yet innocent look. 

My final flourish with this card was to add some fine shimmer to the card using some white shimmer paint mixed with alcohol in our spritzer.  As a lovely side effect, it left some watermarks on the card and I loved that side effect as it gave some extra interest to the sponged background.

I can't believe registration for March classes close in just a couple of weeks on March 1st! 

Where is the time going? 

I'll admit I am excited about March because it makes me hope that spring is around the corner and warmer weather will arrive someday. 

The winter cold and darkness gives me the blahs!!

Join live over the zoom to fellowship and enjoy the experience with others or do the event on your own time with the recording. Maui Achievers Blog Hop

Today I'm so excited to be joining with demonstrators around the world for the Maui Achievers Blog Hop! 

You may be starting at my blog or you may have hopped here from the blog listed before me in the list below.  However you arrived, welcome!  My name is Genevieve Ko and I am a top performing Canadian demonstrator that loves to stamp! 

I had so much fun playing with the gorgeous new Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. 

You might be unfamiliar with this paper because it's not yet available for purchase for the general public. 

It's a preorder item just for demonstrators. 

Getting to see and order new product first is one of the BEST perks of being a demonstrator. 

This is just a little sampling of some of the designs in this paper pack. 

The range of colours in this paper pack just means that there are a lot of possibilities when using this paper!

I don't know if I have ever put Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron cardstock together but the DSP showed me that it can be done and it looks great! 

Anyone in Canada can make this card with me when you sign up for my March technique class.  Technique class is a favourite because we learn new things and it's only $25 for three projects or absolutely free with an order (min. $30). 

We meet over zoom and chat and stamp together.  I mail packets to anyone who lives long distance.
