Masculine card inspiration

Father's Day is coming up...need a little inspiration for your masculine themed cards?  Here's the cards we did at my last card class.

Hair gel wow

I love to make cards and use them for multiple purposes. I will be going to stampin up's annual convention in Salt Lake City in a few weeks. I decided to sign up for an organized WOW card swap. It will be fun to do it and get great WOW samples to bring back for all of you however the agony of making a WOW card was weighing heavy on my mind. As you know I much prefer sweet and simple. I finally had time today to make the card I wanted to try. I am also planning on using this card as one of the make n takes at my upcoming technique class on Monday July 8th. I think it is wow because how cool is it to get to use hair gel on a card!!!???

another teacher gift

Just thought I would show the other gift card holder card I made for a male teacher.  I also made a matching handsoap for him.  You can't exactly tell but the stamped images are INSIDE the soap.  Not on the outside of the bottle.  Cool eh?    We made these at a recent kids can craft class and the kids and parents were impressed.  It was so easy to do.  Just cut out a window sheet about the size/shape of the soap bottle (a little smaller)  Then stamp your images in staz on ink.  Roll the window sheet and put it into the soap bottle and let it unroll inside the bottle.  Then re insert the pump part making sure the stick part goes behind the window sheet.

This is a stamp set I totally overlooked in the spring mini.overlooked until I saw all the amazing samples people made with it. Yes, then I had to have it. I used it last week at a class and here's the fun the girls had with it.
