Oh my! What a week! What can I say? It was such an emotional week! To save you from reading a novel, I will just share some highlights and some photos. Weeks like this remind me that life is short and to soak up every blessing and to give thanks everyday to an amazing God. Weeks like this also remind me that I can't handle everything myself and I need to look to God to sustain me because I sure can't do it myself!!
Let's see...the week started on Sunday at our home church Cornerstone Christian Community Church. Being there really does feel like home. We have friends there that have known us for many years and they have supported us through many things.
This week we celebrated together because our youngest son chose to get baptized. Baptism in our faith community is an outward expression of commitment to follow Jesus as leader in life. We knew it took Nathaniel a lot of courage to stand in front of the whole church to declare his faith but he was so brave. He even shared a testimony that was so honest and heartfelt. Of course I cried happy tears.
Next up was my daughter's grade 8 graduation. I also cried happy tears. How did she become such a capable, beautiful, sweet young lady? You would never know she was once a colicky screaming baby!
And if those two things weren't enough, our oldest son Ethan graduated from grade 12. He'll be off to university in the fall. More happy tears!
Of course if you haven't noticed, my stampin' business didn't slow down one bit! Classes continued as normal, and there's lots to prepare before I leave for the Stampin' Up! incentive trip next week so I felt very very busy in the craft cave. It all felt a bit overwhelming but some deep breaths and lots of prayer helped me keep going. I didn't want to miss any of the happy stamping and I didn't want to miss any of my family milestones. Maybe I was too greedy! I wanted to do it all!
Fortunately I was reminded that I can't do it all ! I was sent some wonderful Team S.T.I.C girls and friends who happily joined me in the craft cave to cut packets, stuff envelopes, punch circles so that things in the stampin4fun world could keep going forward.
Today's Friday...more cutting and packing and then taking kids to doctor appointments then... an unfortunate accident where someone rear ended me resulting in quite a bit of damage to the rear of my car and a trip to the collision reporting center.
Not a great way to start the long weekend or end the week but I was just so grateful that none of my kids were hurt and everything seemed to go very smoothly with the collison reporting and with insurance.
Oh! The other exciting thing that happened just last night was that I hit my 500,000 sales career milestone! It's quite a milestone considering I started by buying a few stamps for myself just for fun. I can't believe I get to do this for my job!! Isn't it crazy?
If you've ever thought about joining my Team, JULY IS THE TIME!

You see what I mean when I say it was an emotional week!
