Alaska Achievers Blog Hop

Hello!  Thank you for joining in on the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop!  I believe the theme is to share highlights from the recent Alaska Incentive trip and/or goodies from the holiday catalogue since we received so many gifts from the not yet released catalogue.  Make sure to use the list below to hop around and see all the photos and inspiration from fellow demonstrators around the world!

I know I did a little bit of a recap in this blog post:
However, given the theme for this blog post I thought I would share a few of my very favourite photos from the trip and also a card that I made that was inspired by my adventure.

Of course one of the highlights of the trip was seeing my country: Canada!  I live in the south east part of the country, near Toronto.  I would say my environment is typical suburb of a big city kind of life.

It was absolutely breathtaking to go to the far north and enjoy the untouched beauty.  We were blessed with the best weather: it was sunny and hot!  What are the chances?
Now I can say I have been to the far north reaches of my country and I have to say I felt super proud to be Canadian!!

When I returned home I couldn't stop thinking about how incredible my stampin' journey has been.  Honestly the experience has been life changing!  I've made special friends, experienced parts of the world I would never otherwise see and I feel like I've also grown as a person.  It all started with buying the best deal Stampin' Up! starter kit!

Soon after I returned home, I had my monthly Team S.T.I.C. gathering and our swap coordinator had said the theme was to make a card appropriate for children.  This is the card I made.  I hoped it would qualify since it uses bright and cheerful colours.  It doesn't use a "kiddie" themed stamp set because I was still obsessing about my incredible travel experience to the far north and the En Route stamp was the stamp set that was calling my name.  (If you haven't taken a close look at this suite in the catalogue, I'd suggest to head to my online store to check it out! )

I love it that I'm middle aged and still get to have adventure and new experiences in my life!
Thanks again for dropping in.  The blog hop list and supply list for the above card are pasted below.
