Just Sharing...

Just thought I would share a quick post today with some photos.

The months leading up to Christmas are definitely one of the busiest as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  My family is used to this routine after years of living with me.
I am so grateful for my supportive family as I spend many evenings and weekends out of the house or buried in my craft cave. Kevin and the kids also have busy schedules with their activities as well but somehow it always works out.

Before I left for Ottawa last weekend I grabbed my calendar and talked to Kevin to make sure we booked a date night when I got back.
Tuesday night was the night!  I know Tuesday nights are not a normal date night for most people but it worked for us.
What a great evening with my best friend.  We were able to catch up on the things going on in each other's lives and just connect for a moment before the crazy of life resumed.  :-)

I am continuing with my weekly sabbath rest days.  These days are the anchor for my soul and mind and it a huge reason why I can continue living life with the passion I have.
This past week I was blessed to be able to share my sabbath rest day with my oldest son.  His school was having a mental health education day and he was supposed to attend workshops all day on youth mental health.
He really didn't want to go since all his friends already decided they were going to skip school.
I gave him the option to go to school or practice sabbath with me.
He chose to spend the day with me.

We put away our phones.  We went out to eat.  We took a prayer walk on that beautiful fall day. We took a nap.

It was great!

Also just wanted to share a few photos of the recognition charms I received last weekend.
I thought it was really thoughtful that each top performer category was a different in-colour.  So there was a dapper denim charm, emerald envy charm, flirty flamingo charm, etc.
They were also engraved on the back with my intials, the year and the ranking and country.
Fun right?

I also get to choose a recognition jacket.  Here are the three styles.  Which one should I choose?  I have to decide soon!  Pink or gray, pink or gray?   I can't decide!!!!  What do you think???

Thanks for dropping in and letting me share!
Have a great weekend!

  1. I love the gray! The pink is good (easier to see you on those walks since it gets dark so early now) but the gray looks more like silver to me. So shiny and nice!!
