Incentive Trip Achiever Blog Hop: Perfectly Penciled

Happy Monday! Thanks for dropping into my blog as I participate in the Incentive Trip Achievers Blog Hop. This is a blog hop where demonstrators around the world show off our recent stamping creations!

It's a long weekend here in Canada as we celebrate Victoria Day.

Three of us in the family went trailer camping this past weekend. If you followed my blog last year, you'll know how I feel about camping so I won't get into that.

We just got home. There's something about camping that makes me feel grungy. I don't know whether it's the living in a confined space, or eating simple foods or the insects all over the place.

All I know is when I got home, I decided to go down to the craft cave and open some stampin' deliveries as this would certainly make me feel better.

I put it on right away as I knew wearing such a beautiful sweatshirt would make me feel better!

I might have bugs in my hair, smell like campfire smoke and zero make up but the new sweatshirt did make me feel instantly better!

I put on my sweatshirt and decided to make a project using the designer series paper that inspired the pattern on the sweatshirt.

Here's what I made!

A couple of Bermuda Bay Cards

Hi Friends! Sorry I'm so late posting the cards from last week.

This month I wanted to have fun using this new product from the Jan-June mini catalogue:

12X12 Layering Designs Vellum

I was all excited when I first purchased it but I haven't had enough time to play with it so this is the month! Each week on Tuesday, I will create a new project using this vellum.

Here's what I created last week:

Getting those Bermuda Bay Chevrons cut out meant that I had a great piece to use for another card so here's what I created with the leftover piece:

This graphic design and these colours are not my usual choices but I still had so much fun making these cards.
