Hello Lovely

I may be on vacation in Bonnie Scotland but that doesn't mean I can't be working on my memory keeping at the same time!

In fact this is the best time to preserve my memories because the experiences are still fresh in my mind.  That is why the journalling is so plentiful in this album.  The silly stories about the deep fried mars bar and making jokes about the princess bride movie while hiking to a castle are all documented.

This vacation is about friendship and faith and fun and my memory keeping pages sure show it!

Don't let your memories and precious experiences get lost!  Contact me to learn all about quick and easy memory keeping.  Trust me...it's easy!  I am completely up to date on documenting this trip so far! Woohoo!

This beautiful card collection I used in this album is retiring.  Grab it today on my online store. before it sells out.   Don't delay!  Check out the supply list below.

Hope this mojo monday post inspires you to do some memory keeping today!
Have a great day!

Advent

Sorry I've been missing in action!  I have been super busy with the final Christmas stamping classes of the year.  Despite all the busy-ness, I didn't want to forget the meaning of the season.  I finished a cute Advent calendar using the Hello December Project Life Accessory Pack and the small cellophane boxes.  I used a tutorial I received from fellow demonstrator Ronda W.  I put five chocolates in each of the boxes and a bible verse relating to the Christmas story and so far our family has been eating a chocolate and enjoying the reading each day.  I think this could be the start of a wonderful tradition.

This past weekend we also went to pick a Christmas tree.  Our family tradition has nothing to do with going to the great outdoors and chopping a Christmas tree.  It is about going to Ikea and eating swedish meatballs and then going out the parking lot to pick a tree.  We spent the evening decorating the tree, eating and listening to Christmas music.

I hope you can enjoy some time finding moments of peace and joy during this busy season!

Obsession!

When I get obsessed about something I can't stop thinking about it.  It's something in my personality.  This stampin' obsession has sure been lasting a long time.  Did you know that I am coming up to my 9th year stampaversary!?
That's almost 9 years of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator! It's true!

But I digress.

I actually wanted to tell you about my obsession about memory keeping.

I know I have written blog posts before about how much I love the Project Life by Stampin' Up! products. The quality is amazing, the colour co-ordinating is perfect and the artwork is beautiful.
These things are all good however the reason I am obsessed is because I am getting my memories preserved in an album so the memories can live on and be enjoyed over and over again.

I have quite a few pages of photos from our most recent Disney trip.  It brings back so many happy memories and my family love looking at the photos and reading the memories I've jotted down on the Project Life journalling cards. Our family trip becomes priceless when I put those photos into an album to enjoy over and over again.

It doesn't take a lot of time and is so easy!

I'm so obsessed about this that I am doing another Memory Keeping and More information session.
Here's the details!  I hope you can come.  It's free and I would love to share memory keeping with you!

You’re Invited to a Special Afternoon featuring…
Project Life by Stampin’ Up!
Do you have pictures sitting on your computer, on your phone, or in a box?
I have learned about a system called Project Life by Stampin' Up! that takes the time money and stress out of memory keeping! It’s all about living your life, and documenting it for your family in a quick, simple, easy and affordable way!
This is not scrapbooking! It takes much less time, and focuses more on living your life and preserving your precious memories for you and your family.  You need not ONE OUNCE of crafting ability, just the desire to preserve your precious memories!  (And have a little fun with me!)
I know we’re all busy, and have so much taking up our time, but I would LOVE for you to join me for some light snacks and fun socialization.  I will teach and share about how to create something that is priceless for you and your family.
I would love to see you and please feel free to invite a friend! There is no charge for this event but RSVP is required as space is limited.

Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop April 2016

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for April!  Thanks for popping in and seeing what we are creating this month!
The theme for this month is Baby Love.
You may just be starting the hop here on my blog: I'm Genevieve Ko! Or you may have hopped here from the previous blog.  If you get off track at any time, the full line up of names is below so you can just check out the list and carry on!

I don't make a lot of baby cards anymore as many of my friends are past that stage however when I was playing with the Memories in the Making Project Life Card Collection, baby cards came to mind.
This project life card collection has beautiful colours.
Check out what I created.

The card uses the retiring zoo babies stamp set (shop online to get it before it's gone!) It was so easy!  I just stamped using basic grey onto one of the Memories in the Making project life cards.
The card base is pink pirouette embossed with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder.  A little tea lace doily peeking out the bottom seemed to add a touch of sweetness for baby.

Have you ever seen the treasures in a Project Life by Stampin Up! accessory pack?  The accessory packs are true gems full of beauty! There are wooden elements, washi tape, elements that can be coloured...

I saw these cute little squares in the accessory pack and decided they must be used.  So, I made a little pop out feature on the inside of the card.

Of course, baby needs a memory album as well.  Don't forget the front of the album can be decorated with the Memories in the Making cards and accessories as well!

Hope these projects inspired you to create for baby today!

Remember to head to the person after me on the list so you can see other great baby themed projects. Thanks for dropping in!

Easy March Break Activities

Enjoy this week's Watch it Wednesday video.  I love sharing Stampin' Up! on Rogers Daytime.  The host is a lot of fun and there's really a big adrenaline rush that comes from having to set up my display during a commercial break and sharing everything I love in 4 minutes.  No pressure.  Nope.  None at all.
Now that our stampin' friends from Texas have returned home, I'm sure I'll be printing out my pictures and doing some Project Life by Stampin' Up!  to re-live and enjoy the memories (and to help my daughter cope with the loss of having a friend by her side 24 hours a day)

Want to get your memories in an album?  Make sure to contact me and book your private Album in an Evening session!

A Great Freebie: Watch it Wednesday

Sale-a-bration is now in full swing and many of you have been snatching up the sale-a-bration freebies.

One exclusive freebie that I kind of overlooked was the This Day Project Life Mini Card Collection.  I'm not overlooking it anymore!  I'm trying to grab as many of those as I can so that I can easily finish a memory keeping album and have extras left over to make cards.

Here's one I made in the middle of writing this blog post so I can prove to you how easy it is to use these project life cards.  It took 5 minutes.  I used the cut and ready whisper white card base, stuck on a yellow star card from the project life collection, ran down to my craft cave and found a piece of whisper white cardstock rectangle on the floor (there's always scrap paper lying on my craft cave floor), stamped the banner blessings stamp in early espresso, adhered it to the card front with washi tape from the Hooray It's your Day project kit and put on two rhinestones.  Writing this blog post is taking longer than it did to make this card.

Here's another card that they showed at Leadership using a card from the This Day Project Life Collection.  This mini card Collection is ONLY available during sale-a-bration!  Make sure to get it free with a min. $60 order or purchase the great deal Starter Kit.

Here's a video highlighting this great product.  I love this video because it's so real!  I eat chocolate when crafting ALL THE TIME!

Here's all the supplies you need for the card I made.  Just click on any of the images to take you to my online store.

Project Life: For memory Keeping and More!

Those Project Life by Stampin' Up! cards are so versatile.  I needed a baby card fast.  I decided to grab one of the cards from the Little Moments Project Life Card Collection and Ta Dah! An easy baby card!

I was thinking I would like to have a little weekly feature on my blog called "Watch it Wednesdays" where I will post some kind of video.  Here's today's video showcasing Project Life by Stampin' Up! This video gives you a very good idea of the card collection and how the cards are used in an album for memory keeping. But of course, there's no reason you can't use them to make a greeting card like I did!

Don't you love that video and how easy it is to make an album to preserve your memories? Contact me today to book your Project Life by Stampin' Up! party and earn the products for free!

Project Life and Stampin' Up!

I scrapbook simply because life is amazing but it goes at such a fast pace it's hard to remember it all.  I want to preserve those memories to enjoy them over and over again.  That's why I run my monthly Memories Matter Class where we make 3 12X12 scrapbook pages each month.  Check out a couple of the past layouts HERE and HERE.
I used to occasionally do a scrapbook in an evening class but since Stampin' Up! discontinued their Simply Scrappin Kits and their scrapbook albums I was a bit stumped as to what I should do.  In fact I just bought a bunch of mini scrapbook albums off the Stampin' Up! clearance rack so that I could run another scrapbook in an evening night. I should have known Stampin' Up! wouldn't discontinue scrapbooks without something better up their sleeve.
Today they made this amazing announcement.  Check out the video.  Project Life is an established, popular and well known scrapbooking system that is perfect not just for scrapbookers but for anyone who feels too busy to scrapbook. Take this popular system and marry it with Stampin' Up!'s exclusive colours, design and co-ordinating products and you've got a winning combination.  I can't stand it I'm so excited...can you tell?!  As a demonstrator, I get to preorder these great new products and play with them first.  It's a fabulous time to be a demonstrator.  If you want to get your hands on the new Project Life products Join the Fun today otherwise, just stay tuned to see what I create and what classes I'll be offering...
Just think, a super simple way to scrapbook your vacation memories, baby memories, special occasions.  Yes!  You can do it with me, Stampin' Up! and Project Life. Woot!  Woot! These products go live May 1st.
