Still Playing with Gilded Leafing

Did you see the card I made on my Tuesday live video?

I decided to play with embossing folders and the Gilded Leafing Embellishment

I wanted to accent to the embossed portion of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder.

Festive Foliage Meets Gilded Leafing

I'm so excited to share this card with you!

I imagined using the Gilded Leafing embellishment with a background style stamp and I was hoping my dream could come true.

I decided to use the Festive Foliage Stamp

Gilded Leafing is such a fun embellishment to play with! I'm so glad I picked it as the product of the month this month.

Gilded Merries Moments

Did you catch my live video earlier this week where I created another project using the Merriest Moments stamp set and the product of the month: Gilded Leafing? (See last week's gilded leafing project HERE)

I wanted to show how the gilded leafing gives such a vintage and weathered gold effect.

I used gold emboss powder for the sentiment because I didn't want a vintage and weathered look for the sentiment. I wanted the sentiment to be clear and more bold.

If I had done the sentiment with gold leafing this is what it would have looked like:
