Tea Together at Technique Class

The first Monday of the month is approaching.  That means it's technique class time!  I thought it would be fun to play with a technique called no line watercolouring.

I sure had fun playing!

Here's one of the cards we will make! I love the soft, sweet colour of the Soft Seafoam so that's the colour I'm watercolouring the teapot!

Come play with me on April 1st for technique class!
I have a 10am session and a 7pm session

Did you know every month I have a technique class?  It's the perfect way to learn new things and play with lots of product!

Many of the ladies who attend technique class are part of my stampin4fun club.  Club membership is the best!!!

It's a way to slowly buy supplies while learning new things at the same time!  As well, you get extra tutorial inspiration every month, you also receive a 20% coupon for one time use and FREE product and access to host exclusive sets.

Your club membership "fee" is simply to put in a min. $30 order each month

Long distance?  No worries, you can receive the make n take supplies and instructions mailed to you and all the other club perks, you just have to place a min. 440 each month to help offset the shipping.

Contact me if you'd like to learn more about club membership!

Card Class: More than just Cards

The first Monday of the month is technique class where we make cards while learning new and fun techniques.  Most of my stampin4fun club members come to technique class as they love to see different ways to use stampin' products.  (learn more about stampin4fun membership HERE)

We might get together to make cards but to me it's so much more.  Here's some photos from the most recent technique class earlier this month.

One of my Stampin4fun club girls, named Tasneem,  currently has about 20 people living in her home as she is housing several families of refugees from Syria.  I believe her husband is Syrian so it was a given that they would be helping as family members started arriving to Canada.
Knowing that it might be hard for her to get away while she has all those houseguests, I sent her some free class passes that she could use to bring some of her houseguests.  She told me how happy she was that she could come to class AND spend time with her relatives in a calmer environment without all the noise and kids running around.

It was so fun to watch the amazement of the new stampers.  The use of the Big Shot was a big highlight! Tasneem also told me that they were thrilled to discover partway through the class that they could take their cards home.  When they started they thought they were making the cards to give to me!  LOL LOL LOL!!!

Do you need a break from the stresses of life?  Do you want to come to a class to make something beautiful without having to worry about finding all the right supplies?  Come out to one of my regular classes!  Technique class is the first Monday of the month at 10am or 7pm and Sweet and Simple Card class is at 7pm on the last Thursday of the month.

The next technique class is November 7th!

Come have fun creating with me!

So Suite Purse

I have to share this darling card I got from swapping at Leadership. I loved it and knew that I would do it with my club girls when I got back. It uses a faux leather technique that was so easy but gives such a cool effect. Doesn't the pom pom trim just add to the cute-ness? The designer series paper is called "sweet stitches" and is found in the occasions mini in the "Oh Sew Suite" section starting on page 32

Our club meeting last night was so nice. Leslie brought the food and I had to take a picture of the cute tuxedo strawberries as well as how proud everyone looked of their card creation. If you are interested in joining a card club. Please let me know. I'd love to have you join in on the learning and fun.
