On Stage Calgary Adventures

Hello!  I'm home from Calgary and thought I would share a recap and some photos from the Stampin' Up! On Stage Event.

It started on Friday evening with a catered dinner just for demonstrators who were performing at Silver Elite title or above.

We dressed up a little bit, enjoyed our dinner, listened to some training and then...received the new catalogue and a lovely gift.  The gift was a very pretty Stampin' Up! apron.  Did I mention I received the new Stampin' Up! catalogue???? SQUEAL!!!!

One big reason I wanted to go to Calgary as opposed to staying in the Toronto location with the rest of Team S.T.I.C. is because I wanted to spend time with some of my fellow leader friends.  I'm not going to lie.  I picked their brains about how they support their team, successful events that they run and the such.

It was very inspiring for me to visit with them.

Here I am with Lynsay Mahon and Rose Marie Coleman.

More leader friends: Lisa Altman and Allison Okamitsu

Even before we received the catalogue we got a nice sneak peek of the new in colours by looking at the table centrepiece.

I thought this was the cutest picture of the evening.  I looked over and saw these very happy ladies poring over their new catalogue and they had already unwrapped and put on their new aprons.  Only very ecstatic Stampin' Up! demonstrators would eat dinner quickly so they can sit at the table and study a catalogue while wearing a pretty Stampin' Up! apron.
( sorry about the strange photoshop attempt to cover up the images inside the catalogue but we are not allowed to show the inside of the new catalogue online)  If you want to see the new catalogue first you really need to join my team and the fun of the Stampin' Up! family.  (just sayin...explore joining the fun HERE)
Saturday morning I woke up bright and early and headed over to the convention centre.

I wore my Team S.T.I.C shirt to be together in spirit with my team girls in Toronto.

The day did not disappoint.  I swapped, I saw demonstrations using brand new beautiful new stamps, I created cute projects and I visited with old friends and met new friends.

Even though I was in Calgary, I kept thinking of the team S.T.I.C girls in Toronto and wondering if they were having fun.  I wondered who had won prize patrol and if they were as excited about the new catalogue as me.  Since I was two hours behind Toronto, I knew they would be seeing everything first.

I was texting the girls back in Toronto and asking for details.

Here's some of the photos from the team fun in Toronto.

Since I couldn't be with them in person, I left a gift for each of them.  I thought these bags with our Team logo would be the perfect size to hold their swap cards and their little stampin' supplies.

I was so happy when the girls texted me this team photo.  Their happy smiles and their purple shirts reassured me that they had fun!

The day passed by quickly and then it was time to say farewell.

The evening ended with a huge buffet dinner.  A big Thank you to Allison who invited me to join her team the "inkin elite" for dinner.

I left early Sunday morning to arrive home in time to have dinner with my family and provide many bedtime kisses.

In case you would like to see some stamping inspiration (instead of just pictures of friends, ), here is a card that a new Team S.T.I.C girl is sending to her son.
It uses the Basket Bunch stamp set.
I love the way she stamped the bunny on the card base and then overlayed the stitched shape framelit on top with the bunny cut out.

Basket bunch is one of the retiring sets!  Hurry and check out the retiring list on my online store and grab these last chance sets before they are gone!

Thanks for dropping in!
