So much more...

One of the many things I love about being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that this business gives me a vehicle to connect with people and make a difference. 

It is so much more than stamps, ink and paper!

This past Thursday I held the Supper and Stamping Fundraiser in support of our missions team heading up to Thunder Bay. 

Our church mission team partners with Northwind Family Ministries: an organization in Thunder Bay, that offers services to primarily Indigenous families in Northern Ontario.

I thought I would share some photos from the fantastic evening.  So far we've raised over $700 but it's not over yet!  Make sure to read until the end of this post to learn how you can contribute too! 

The evening started with the attendees enjoying a home made meal of chili, pasta, salad and dessert and while they ate, we shared some stories of past trips up north and how we hope to serve this summer. 

When registering for the event, guests had chosen from a selection of our all inclusive kits and the pricing included a donation to the mission. 

After eating and sharing it was time for the crafting and chatting! 

My heart was so happy seeing people opening their boxes and playing and checking out what boxes others had chosen.  I could hear lots of laughter and conversation. A stamping gathering is so much more than just crafting!

I know crafting can be such a great vehicle for fun! We had people of all ages enjoying the experience! 

To further contribute to the fundraising we had prizes that were donated.  It was so fun that the student who really wanted to win the vacuum did actually win it! I guess it's a perfect accessory for her residence dorm room! 

Thank you to everyone who attended (in person or ordered kits to go), donated raffle prizes, helped cook the food, set up the room and shared the event!
