I'm back from my time in Quebec. It was a great change from the usual routine.
It was also great to speak French in a really French environment. I definitely felt more confident compared to when I was there in the summer of 2022.
It was great to connect with Chantal, the lovely lady who opened her home for me to live there when I was doing the French immersion program in Chicoutimi.
Here's a few photos then I'll get on to the business of sharing my stamping project from last week.
I enjoyed poutine, crafting and quiet work time from the kitchen table. So grateful the weather, although cold, was generally beautiful. You never know when you're in northern Quebec at this time of year!
I also made a point of connecting with demonstrators from the chicoutimi area. It was great!
Were you able to watch my video from last week?
I'm very proud I had it all ready for you even though I was away from home.
The deckled circle dies have become a regular go to for my cardmaking.
If you missed the video you can watch it here
Make sure not to miss how I use foam sheets for the nativity scene die.
Thanks for letting me share my card creation and photos from my recent time in Quebec. Don't forget the last chance specials are on now. It's the time to nab anything from the holiday catalogue that makes your heart happy!
The supply list for the card I shared is at the end of this blog post.
Thanks for dropping in!
