Vegas and more

Hello! As many of you may know, I’ve been on a little road trip, work trip, fun trip!

I don’t have much time but wanted to share a few photos of the adventures.

This year the Stampin up leadership conference is in Las Vegas.

You do have to be a certain title to attend and there were several team stic girls eligible to attend and most decided to make the trip for this event.

For myself, though I am eligible to attend as a demonstrator, I actually had to attend as a staff member of Stampin up! I was there to connect with demonstrators and help with presentations etc.

I knew I wouldn’t have much time to spend with the team stic girls during the event due to various responsibilities so I thought it would be fun to do a girls road trip before the conference.

A few of the team stic girls were up for the adventure so we flew to Salt Lake City, enjoyed a tour of the Stampin up home office and then the next day got up bright and early to drive to Kanab, Utah to visit the manufacturing plant.

Here’s a few photos of that part of the fun. (Not many photos of the manufacturing plant since we weren’t allowed to take photos of the plant floor)

Isn't this a gorgeous home office?

These values of Stampin' Up! are demonstrated and lived out in so many ways .

I am super impressed about how intentionally the buildings were constructed so that they didn’t look industrial.

Everyone was so welcoming and through the tour we learned about all the attention to detail in so many areas which is what makes Stampin up so special.

Now that I have been working for the company a full year I know it’s great but I wanted the team stic girls to get a taste

There is a park right near the manufacturing plant that has rubber on the ground instead of wood chips or sand.  The rubber of course comes from the Stampin' Up! manufacturing plant.  It's just one way they recycle the left over rubber from creating the stamps.

After our lovely road trip we drove several hours and arrived in Vegas. It was go go go for me with work but I loved all the interaction time with demonstrators.

I also had the opportunity to do a main stage presentation during the final session with a dear friend Ronda wade.
Here we are right after make up before going on stage

It was an amazing experience with amazing demonstrators and a great team.

I love this team I get to work with! I think we inspire each other to always better our best.

The final event was a cirque de soleil show and we got matching t shirts! Super fun !

I guess that's all I have to share for now.  The convention is over but I'm staying in Vegas several more days for a work retreat.  It seemed like a good time for us to all meet since my counterparts in Europe and South Pacific were in town for the convention.

I'm exhausted but the discussion each day is very interesting so all is good!

I won't be able to do my live video this week.  There's just too much going on but I'll make sure to be back next week!

Thanks for understanding and thanks for dropping in!

I'll try to show off some swaps in a future post!
