This week my husband's school had a school fun fair. He asked me to do a craft table for the kids.
Ok.
Simplicity is the key with kids so here's what I prepared. Check out the supply list at the bottom of this blog post!
I precut the cardstock and used versamark ink for the background (this way I didn't have to worry about the blueberry bushel landing in the Berry burst (If you know what I mean)
Since Kevin's school has a French immersion component I made sure to have both a french sentiment and english sentiment.
I used the layering leaves set
(Feuilles a superposer)
Isn't the font beautiful!
I was so grateful that team stic girl Serena was able to help. (In fact this is where I first met Serena and introduced stamping to her a few years ago since her kids attend the school)
It was a little slow at first but then the kids came and the stamping frenzy began!
Versamark was nicknamed the magic stamp pad since the ink is clear but when you stamp it on coloured cardstock it takes on a slightly deeper colour to give a watermark effect. the kids and parents were suitably impressed.
My banner suffered a little bit of ink impact from the black memento ink
Kevin and I had a little bit of fun too!
I love what I do and I love sharing it.
