You may have heard the news that I was under the weather. Yes, after three years it was my turn to get the dreaded covid virus. I'm definitely on the up and up now and feeling a lot better.
One of the saddest parts was actually being all isolated and not hugging or hanging around with my family.
I was relegated to life in the craft cave. I slept there, I ate there...it wasn't that bad actually.
I still wanted to make sure to do something special for Valentines day but only had enough energy to make one card so the two kids at home had to share the card. :-)
I was so excited to use the Friendly Gnomes stamp set. I love the sentiments too
I cut a window in the DSP using the Something Fancy Dies and layered another label and the darling gnome.
Some of the sweet frayed ribbon (free during saleabration with your min. $60 order) was a finishing touch...along with some elegant faceted gems.
I repurposed one of the kit boxes and filled it with a few treats.
Have you ever had cotton candy grapes? They really taste like cotton candy!
Kevin gave me some roses for Valentines day but the real gift was that he did my weekly live video! (I was afraid to fall into a terrible coughing fit in the middle)
I'm hoping we'll be able to go on a date night this weekend!
Thanks for dropping in!
