Filling My Bucket

I've had an exciting few days which has really filled my bucket.  I'm feeling blessed and rejuvenated and ready to conquer whatever life has to offer!

Here's a few photos from the past few days to give you a flavour of what's been happening.

With my busy stampin' work schedule I try to guard Wednesdays as a day of rest.  This past Wednesday I had plans to get together with a couple of my girlfriends from university.  We were roommates and have become great friends.
Even though Lee-Ann moved to Scotland, we have still managed to keep in touch regularly and to be prayer warriors for one another.

With the recent quarantine restriction lifted for fully vaccinated Canadians, Lee-Ann took the opportunity to come and visit her family and of course we had to find time to get together.

We met up in Orangeville (a good midway point between Lee-Ann's parents farm and the GTA)
We had a delicious lunch and enjoyed the little stores and of course talked and talked and talked and ended our visit in a park spending time in prayer for one another and our crazy lives.

Of course I couldn't see my dear friends empty handed so what did I bring?  A handmade card of course.  It wasn't just any handmade card...it was a large shadow box style card using the Turtle friends stamp set.

Gloria's gift to us: matching Queen's university shirts!

It was a wonderful Wednesday!

Thursday was the first day of the Backstage Stampin' Up! leadership convention.  It was supposed to be in Las Vegas but this venue was cancelled and the entire event was totally online (again) .

This is a special leadership focused event for demonstrator leaders.
I had the opportunity to gather with the other leaders on my team to enjoy the event.
(thank you vaccines!)

Two team members were from out of town and they decided to come into the GTA so we could enjoy the virtual event together. I booked a hotel for them and figured why not give myself a getaway too so I joined them at the hotel.  It wasn't quite like a Vegas girls getaway but it was still loads of fun and made the leadership convention more powerful, I think.

I am so grateful and I so appreciate the leaders on the team I couldn't resist giving a little gift: A pretty Stampin' Up! thermal lunch tote and a mug with some chocolates and purple hot chocolate and purple team stic pen.  (purple is our team colour)

Stampin' Up! gifted us with a beautiful box full of useful and cute goodies for the convention too:

Food, friends and great networking and keynote speakers...what else could I ask for?

The theme of the event was "Shine"
We're wearing our sunglasses because we are all shining so bright we need eye protection!

My bucket is full!
Thanks for dropping in and being a part of my Stampin' journey!
I am blessed!
