Yesterday's happenings

Just thought I'd share some photos of my day yesterday.

It was a special day because it was the day that myself and Team S.T.I.C member Zahra decided we would have lunch and redeem our points for the next Stampin' Up! incentive trip to the Greek Isles.

It was also a special day because it was the first day of the Markham festival and going to the festival is like a tradition for our family.  I find I'm grasping to anything that might possibly be a tradition in our family because since my oldest is in grade 12, I feel like this could be our last year to enjoy family traditions as a whole family of 5.

First, some photos of the lunch:
Since the next incentive trip is a cruise to the Greek Isles, it seemed appropriate that we should have lunch at a Greek restaurant.

We had so much fun chatting and catching up that we almost forgot the point of getting together was to redeem the trip!
How Stampin' Up! determines if you can redeem the trip is all based on a point system.  Stampin' Up! rewards demonstrators with points based on their sales, team performance, and things like that.  In order to redeem for an all expense paid luxury vacation for two, a demonstrator would need to have at least 160,000 points.  Earning enough points for the trip is definitely an accomplishment and I wanted us to celebrate.
We took out our computers and "redeemed" the trip right there in the restaurant.  Now that I've officially redeemed it, I"m getting excited.  I think my husband will come as my first guest and I will "buy in" my oldest son since it can be like a graduation gift.

I am so grateful to enjoy Stampin' Up! as a "job" and so grateful for so many supportive team members and friends!

The evening was spent with family at the Markham Fair doing the usual things...eating french fries, checking out the produce and crafts and ending the evening watching the demolition derby and fireworks!

Thanks for dropping in!  Hope you have a great weekend!
