It has been an awesome journey being a part of this church as we have seen God work in some pretty cool ways! We started as a small church plant of 35 people over 20 years ago. Kevin and I were just newlyweds...and now church attendance is well over 500 and there are two Sunday morning services and a variety of community programs.
One of the community events this summer is the Farmer's Market and Ice Cream Social.
I will be there on Thursday August 9th 5:30-8:30pm sharing my Stampin4fun business! If you are in the Markham area, please drop by for a visit! (9680 Ninth Line)
I was looking on the church website to see if there was an advertising video about the market that I could share with you since today is "Watch it Wednesday". I didn't find a video about the market/ice cream social but I did find this video that they showed at church a couple of weeks ago.
This video cracked me up so I thought I would share it with you. Michelle White is one of our music leaders. We love the enthusiasm and rhythm she brings on Sunday mornings. Her husband Kevin is one of the pastors at the church.
I think this video shares a taste of our church culture. There's talent and there's fun but it's all for the purpose of sharing God's love with the community. (yes, this means saying "later paper")
