Finally a Ladies Retreat Recap

The Ladies Retreat Weekend is a special weekend for women to come and relax.  As timing would have it, the weekend retreat fell on April 1st.  The day right after my sale-a-bration finale event.

For some reason when I was planning my calendar, it didn't quite clue in to me that the big sale-a-bration finale is the day before the retreat.
I guess I thought one is in March and one is in April.  :-)

Anyway, everything went smoothly and I hope all had a good time.

Check out this special cake I had ordered for the sale-a-bration finale event.   As I've seen on a stamp...a party without a cake is just a meeting...

I had most everything packed before the sale-a-bration finale.  Friday morning was just about loading up the car.  I bring all my punches and big shots and big shot dies for everyone to share and use. Of course I also needed to pack special goodies for the ladies and lots of creative inspiration.

All set up and ready to welcome the ladies to the Spring Ladies Retreat Weekend! Obviously I was going for a spring theme so the decor and the gifts reflected that.

All the ladies love receiving little treats throughout the day.  Sometimes the packaging is more fun than what's actually inside!

There was even a welcome gift in the hotel rooms for the ladies so they could try to get the spirit of relaxing before they've even walked into the ballroom.

I love seeing what ladies bring to the weekend.  We had some ladies just bring a bag or two.  Others brought much more.
This beautiful trolley was a discussion piece all weekend.  The lady who brought this with her was peppered with questions about it all weekend and everyone had to touch her trolley and comment on its beautiful colour.

Organizing a retreat weekend is a lot of work but it's totally worth it to see the happiness of the ladies.  Here's Nancy relaxed and happily trying out all the embossing folders I brought.

Mindy was happily crafting in her pj's with her own personal lamp that she brought.

Since we have the ballroom for the whole weekend, you can just leave your supplies out and set up your own organization system at your station. (If you look closely you can see that someone used the take out box that previously held snacks to now hold ink pads.)

The Ladies Retreat Weekend is a place for friends to spend time connecting

It's also a place to meet new friends and create to your heart's content.

I love the happy and relaxed spirit at the Ladies Retreat Weekend!
Hope you will join in the next one on October 28th. I can't wait to welcome you!  Please contact me to register! An $85 deposit reserves your spot!
