Friendship IS a Sheltering Tree

We sure made some wonderful memories with our Texan house guests this past week. Our special friends left Wednesday morning and my daughter sure shed a bucketful of tears. Although I tried to share wisdom like "absence makes the heart grow fonder" and "focus on the good times you had instead of her being gone", she still is contemplating moving to Texas.

Here's some pictures of the fun we all shared. Nothing like out of town visitors to make you want to do as many tourist attractions as possible and eat non stop!

I had kind of hoped that Christi and I would get some stamping done while she was here but the days were so jam packed!  We talked a lot about stamping but only managed to stamp for a little bit.  Here's a card I created.  She inspired me to take out my sheltering tree set and play.  (yes, sometimes stamping demonstrators just have whole conversations about how we love stamping and our favourite sets etc etc).  The sentiment was just perfect for the friendship we and our daughters experience.
