Stamping for a Great Cause

I love doing Stampin' Fundraisers.  It's a great way for people to socialize while creating something beautiful while supporting a cause.  I was introduced to Room for a Child through my friend Emily Chung, owner of AutoNiche.  Dawn Gillespie is a woman with a vision.  She was a teacher in a difficult area of Toronto and she saw the needs of the children and community.  She has started a charity to provide functional bedrooms to impoverished children in the city. I hope she will soon finish her website so you can learn more about her charity but I loved hearing her stories of how she went into homes and through partnering with various organizations, was able to provide a bed and desks and basic room furnishings to children who had none.  Imagine what that does to help children succeed at school and as well to their self-esteem!!
