Isn't the occasions mini catalogue full of beautiful and wonderful things? I can't help but be happy when I look at it. I couldn't wait to play with my Take a Spin set from the Occasions mini since I thought the idea of having a spinner on a card was super neat. The spinner is a pewter colour. I replaced the standard pewter brad with a glimmer brad. (I couldn't resist adding some bling!)
I thought this might be a good card for my son when he goes to birthday parties but he informed me that the card was too "cute" looking!
I thought the monochromatic look with the peach parfait colour was quite masculine-ish. Oh well, I like the card!
I think it's a great card for a boy. The squareness and lack of frilly edges make it a very masculine card. The glimmer brad is such a clever idea, it really makes the card extra special.
