Hawaii Incentive Trip Blog Hop

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog hop!  You may have arrived here from my friend Cynthia Millan

This hop was inspired by all the wonderful pillow gifts that we received as a part of the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation.
Here's the pillow gift that inspired my card today.

This quilted case really caught my eye because when we were browsing the vendor stands in Hawaii, we saw many quilted items and I was tempted to pick up one as a souvenir but I didn't need to:  Stampin' Up! purchased one for me...with a little bit of stampin' rubber in the corner to make it extra special.

Onto the card that was inspired by this pretty pillow gift:

I used paper piecing and faux stitching with a project life journalling pen to try to distantly replicate the quilted gift that inspired this card.  I love the upcoming new in color: mint macaron.  A little blossom embellishment also in mint macaron finishes the card off!
The sentiment comes from the stamp set "Painted Petals"
The designer series paper is a sneak peek from the new catalogue and it's called "English Garden"  I can not wait until the new catalogue goes live on June 2nd! (insert my flapping, excited hands!)
Here's a video of how I made the card.

Hope you enjoyed the inspiration!
Janet Wakeland is next up on this blog hop!  Thanks for visiting!
