Stampin' Up! is getting ready to release their new 2014-2015 annual catalogue. For the first time, in order to get ready, they held a New Catalogue Premiere in theaters across North America. As soon as they announced they were going to do this, I had decided that if there was a movie theater anywhere within a 3 hour radius, I was going! Especially since they would be giving a gift and the new catalogue. Hello? New catalogue! I'm there! It turns out that there was a showing in Mississauga! Excellent! Myself and a bunch of Team S.T.I.C girls trekked out to see the show.
It's not quite the same as a live stampin' presentation since we were in a movie theater watching a screen but the presenters (who were live in Long Beach California) still gave us a few laughs as they showed off the new catalogue and fun products. Of course there were a lot of oooo's and ahhhhh's as well.
The special alcohol based Blendability Markers by Stampin' Up! are one of the most anticipated new products. These are markers that make colouring line images super beautiful. You don't get the funny streaky marks that you get with the regular water based markers. You also get to do a lot more realistic shading...
